The Logos 9, presented by Olivetti in 1980, is the smallest writing pocket calculator in the world produced in those years . With this model, Olivetti introduces the use of the LCD display which performs a dual function: it displays the result, or, when the calculator is at rest, it indicates the time. Printing is produced on thermal paper and the printing device, when not used, disappears completely under a sliding cover, leaving only the display and keyboard visible.
